Lasting just over 2 minutes, it’s a piece which can work well across a concert programme – giving flourish as an opener and equally effective if placed between longer content. Composed by Martyn Brabbins earlier in his auspicious career, which was heavily involved with the brass band movement. A sister-work to his other recent brass band release Here and There.
