Duetto Evangelico
£36.30A lively duet for tenor and bass trombone with brass band, created by Tim Paton and incorporating Sunday school favourites of This Little Light of Mine, Give Me Oil In My Lamp and … Living Lord. Offering soloists the opportunity to showcase the typical trombone characteristics – comical obligato, smooth ballad style, and plenty of the famous glissando for which the instrument is renowned.

Four Moods
£36.30An original, 4-movement composition by Tim Paton for brass band. Each movement presents a different style and emotion, opening grandly with Nobility and shortly followed by a smooth, sweet movement, Sentiment. The third movement – Humour – takes the melody just heard in the previous Sentiment, and makes fun of it in an amusing style which utilises ‘rude’ trombone glissandi. The whole piece is then brought to a memorable closing with the final movement – Hot ‘n’ Cool – featuring a mix of jazz/rock with swing style. A fantastic concert item to bring variety to your programme.
